1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how ThePrara (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Bharat Form mobile application (“App”).

The App helps users scan form images, extract text using on-device OCR, and receive AI-generated explanations of form fields in their selected language.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

The App does not require account creation and does not ask for your name, phone number, email address, or login credentials to use its core features.

If you voluntarily contact us through email or feedback options, we receive only the information you choose to provide.

2.2 Form Images and Content You Scan

You may:

• Capture a form using your device camera.
• Upload a form image from your device gallery.

The App processes these images to:

• Extract text using Google ML Kit Text Recognition.
• Send extracted text to Google Gemini AI for analysis when requested.

All scan history remains on your device until you uninstall the App, clear application data, or it is removed by the operating system.

We do not request access to your location, contacts, microphone, SMS messages, or call logs.

4.1 Google Gemini AI

When a new form is analyzed, OCR text extracted from the image may be sent to Google's Gemini service to generate explanations and field guidance.

The App does not send the original image directly to Gemini. Only extracted text is processed for analysis.

4.2 Advertising

Banner advertisements may be displayed through Google AdMob on:

• Home Screen
• Field Detail Screen

AdMob may collect advertising identifiers and related device information to provide and measure advertising services.

5. Data Retention

• Scan history remains until app data is removed.
• Preferences remain until app data is cleared.
• Data processed by Google services follows Google's retention policies.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information stored in the App's private device storage. However, no storage or transmission method is completely secure.

Because AI analysis involves third-party services, avoid scanning highly confidential documents unless you accept the risks associated with external processing.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed toward children under 13 years of age.

If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can assist with removing locally stored data.

8. Your Choices and Rights

• Change app language in Settings.
• Enable or disable vibration.
• View scan history stored locally.
• Deny camera or gallery permissions.
• Uninstall the App to remove local data.

9. International Users

If you access the App from outside India, information may be processed by third-party providers, including Google, in countries where they operate.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The revised version will always display the latest update date.

The following applies in addition to the sections above and reflects recent App updates:

Advertising

Banner advertisements through Google AdMob may appear on Home, Field Detail, Settings, Scanned History, How it works, Form Results, and About Us (see section 4.2).

Full-screen interstitial before Form Results

After a successful new form analysis (OCR + AI complete), a full-screen Google AdMob interstitial ad may be shown before the Form Results screen opens.

• This ad is not shown when you reopen a form from Scanned History or when you choose View Saved Result for a previously scanned form.
• If the ad fails to load or you have purchased Remove Ads, the App proceeds directly to Form Results.

Remove Ads (in-app purchase)

The App offers an optional Remove Ads purchase through Google Play Billing. If you buy this non-consumable product:

• Banner and full-screen interstitial advertisements are hidden across the App.
• Your purchase is processed and validated by Google Play; we do not receive your payment card details.
• A local preference on your device records that ads are removed (ads_removed in app storage).
• You can use Restore Purchase in Settings to restore ad removal on a new install or device linked to the same Google account, subject to Google Play rules.

Scanned History

You can delete individual saved scans from Settings → Scanned History. Deletion removes that entry from your device permanently.

Text-to-Speech (Listen)

On the Field Detail screen, you can listen to AI-generated explanations (Meaning, Example, Instructions) using your device's on-device Text-to-Speech engine.

• Spoken text is processed locally on your device by the operating system TTS service.
• We do not send audio or additional text to ThePrara servers for TTS.
• Voice availability depends on language packs installed on your device (for example via Settings → Text-to-speech on Android).
